Influenced by her family of seamstresses, Galia Lahav began designing and sewing at an early age. This passion for design continued as she pursued her education in arts, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts and teaching for more than fifteen years. Eventually, she turned her artwork into fashion.
Lahav started out modestly, opening a knitted appliqué and embroidery shop in her hometown. She began receiving requests to create evening gowns with her trims, and in a short amount of time she started designing fo brides. These bridal designs quickly became a phenomenon in Israel, and before long, she had stores around the world. Even with this international acclaim, she remains faithful to her artistic origins, each captivating gown beginning with a sketch, and revealing her glamorous, dramatic flair in every detail.
Our photos of her beautiful dresses are the work of Duke Photography.
